Inspired by sprawl and the loss of undeveloped land, “Rim” records responses to a survey about home in the suburbs. Responses where transferred to transparent silk tissue and mounted on top of a rural landscape painting. Made entirely from magnetic sheeting the book is shaped like a curved brick. Pages slide open to form a circle around a hollow core.
