Using a scroll format these works explore ideas about space, perception and the built environment. “Between 40 and 60” is based on the spaces between buildings in New York City; the sky is no longer perceived as an endless space as it is sharply bracketed by the deep canyons of buildings. The sky becomes finite and the built environment feels endless. “Houseweather” conceals the source of a spray of water and blurs the distinction between interior and exterior space.
